We have long understood the need to exercise and pay attention to our bodies but, we often leave our minds unchecked. It is easy to miss the good in life by being distracted, acting out of habit or living on automatic pilot. It is also easy to allow negative thinking to influence our mindset without realising it.

Mindfulness is simply focussing on the present and not worrying about the future or getting caught in the past.
