Emotional Freedom Technique

 

Emotional Freedom Technique is also known as EFT or Tapping. It is often referred to as ‘acupuncture without needles’. It works in two ways.

Firstly, it calms the area of the brain which is in control of the flight or fight mechanism and relates to anxiety and stress.

Secondly, it is a very gentle but focused way to discover the emotional root of a problem and to deal with it at source.

One of the strengths of EFT is that it does not require you to describe an issue or trauma if you would prefer not to. However, you can still get to the root of the problem and deal with it so that you can move on. It can look and feel strange when you start doing it, but it is very effective for many emotional and physical problems. It can be used stand-alone or used in conjunction with other techniques.
